Inger Pauline Landsem

Inger Pauline Landsem is an Associate Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, with dual appointments at the Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Pediatric Nursing programs (50% each). She is a core member of the "Life and Courage" research group and an associate member of the Research Group for Child and Adolescent Health.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on strengthening parent-infant interaction, parental competence, and mastery in infant care, particularly for preterm infants. She integrates clinical nursing insights with developmental psychology to decode infant behavior and promote biopsychosocial regulation. Key areas include infant sleep patterns, maternal bonding, and person-centered nursing.
