Anita Palepu is a Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Medicine, serving as Head of the Department of Medicine and Eric W. Hamber Chair in Medicine. She contributes to health data science and urban health research, with a focus on housing/homelessness impacts on health outcomes.

Key Publications address open medicine, physician burnout, stroke outcomes, and cash transfer impacts on homelessness. Her editorial roles include Annals of Internal Medicine and leadership in Open Medicine.
