معرفی
Anita Huttner, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in neuropathology and molecular diagnostics. Her work focuses on diagnosing brain diseases and cancers through microscopic and genetic analysis, with particular emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease and brain tumors. She leads research using stem cells to model neurological disorders and has pioneered translational biomarker studies in primate models.
Education:
- MD, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (1998)
- Clinical Fellowships at Yale and Harvard (2002–2008)
- Residencies at Yale New Haven Hospital (2002–2004)
Research Interests: Combines traditional neuropathology with cutting-edge molecular techniques to understand disease mechanisms. Key areas include:
- Alzheimer’s biomarker development
- Genetic profiling of gliomas
- Stem cell modeling of neurodegenerative diseases
- Diagnostic MRI biomarkers for radiation necrosis
Awards: Recognized for teaching excellence, including the Averill A. Liebow Award (2009) and Alice Bohmfalk Teaching Award nomination (2005).
Labs/Teams: Collaborates with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Genomics, Genetics, and Epigenetics group, and the Yale Stem Cell Center. Leads initiatives like the Yale Glioma Dataset project integrating AI-driven neuroimaging analysis.
