Anita Gantner is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Innsbruck. She is affiliated with the 'Innsbruck Decision Sciences' research center and works within the Institute of Economic Theory, Policy and History. Her research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, employing lab experiments and theoretical analysis. Key collaborators include Rudi Kerschbamer and Regine Oexl.
Her research interests revolve around fair division mechanisms, bargaining dynamics, and social preferences. She emphasizes experimental methods to study coordination problems, communication effects in negotiations, and the interplay between fairness and efficiency.
