Dr. Anita Dille serves as Professor and Assistant Head of Teaching in the Department of Agronomy at Kansas State University. Her research program investigates weed population dynamics in agricultural systems and sustainable management practices.
Education:
- PhD in Agronomy/Weed Ecology - University of Nebraska, Lincoln (1998)
- MS in Crop Science/Weed Science - University of Guelph (1994)
- BS in Crop Science - University of Guelph (1991)
Research focuses on spatial distribution of weed species, cover crop interactions with invasive species, and precision weed management. Current projects examine Palmer amaranth and kochia ecology within no-till crop rotations, and developing threshold-based herbicide application protocols.
