Dr. Anita Callaway is an Honorary Associate and Lecturer in the Discipline of Art History at the University of Sydney. Her research explores Australian visual culture from European contact through the mid-20th century, with particular focus on ephemeral theatrical art, cross-cultural appropriation of imagery, and 19th-century spectacle.
