Anirvan M. Sengupta

Anirvan M. Sengupta is a Professor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, holding joint appointments in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the BioMaPS Institute. Previously, he was a researcher at Bell Laboratories' Theoretical Physics Group.

His research focuses on multi-scale integrative approaches spanning:

• Biological physics and quantitative biology
• Machine learning for neural representation
• Statistical field theory applications
• Biomolecular network design
• Quantum condensed matter and string theory

He co-established an experimental wet lab investigating DNA-protein interactions in E. Coli.
