Dr. Anirudh Paranjothi serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Oklahoma State University since August 2022. His research focuses on enhancing security and efficiency in dynamic network systems through next-generation technologies, leading the ANTS (Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Security) Lab.
Education:
- PhD in Computer Science from University of Oklahoma (2022)
- MS in Computer Science from Texas A&M University (2017)
- BS in Computer Science from Anna University
His research spans Wireless Networks, VANET Security, and Edge Computing with emphasis on real-world end-to-end frameworks. Primary focus areas include quantum-based IoV security, 6G integration, and rural connectivity solutions. Secondary interests extend to IoT, social networks, and mobile cloud computing, addressing challenges in resource-constrained environments through decentralized architectures.
Recent publications (2024-2025) demonstrate concentrated efforts in securing vehicular networks via quantum cryptography, unsupervised machine learning for anomaly detection, and blockchain-based intrusion systems. Notable trends include rural application focus (evidenced by Southwest Oklahoma NEMT studies) and federated learning approaches for tribal area connectivity.
Dr. Paranjothi mentors 15+ graduate and undergraduate researchers across MS thesis, PhD, and honors projects. His lab secured $4M from US-DoT for autonomous vehicle research in rural/tribal regions, $60,000 from SPTC with matching funds, and $595,953 NSF RET grant. Current research positions target Vehicular Networks, Network Security, Edge Computing, IoT, and 6G technologies.
