Aniko Sabo is an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, affiliated with the Human Genome Sequencing Center (HGSC). She holds a PhD in Molecular Evolution from Purdue University (2002) and a BSc in Biology from the University of Novi Sad (1997). Her research focuses on genomic data accuracy, Mendelian disorders, and the genetic architecture of complex diseases.
Her work includes human genome annotation, variant discovery methods, and uncovering novel genes in Mendelian and neurodevelopmental disorders. She has contributed to large-scale sequencing projects and the SPARK Consortium for autism research.
