Dr. Anike Krämer is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Chair of Sociology of Gender Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, TU Dortmund University. She is also a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Sociology, Innsbruck University, and a member of the Advisory Board Mittelbau of the Network Women's and Gender Studies NRW.

She has contributed to policy projects like inter-nrw.de and engaged in public discourse through CNN, Deutschlandfunk Nova, and Frankfurter Rundschau.
