Anika Daniels-Osaze

Anika Daniels-Osaze serves as Associate Dean for Education and Clinical Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at SUNY Downstate's School of Public Health. Her work develops pipeline programs to diversify health professions and reduce healthcare disparities, with emphasis on participatory approaches and international health education.

Research examines rehabilitation counseling frameworks, disability service models, and diversity initiatives in medical education. She applies intersectional approaches to health equity and workforce development.

Publications (2016-2022) analyze educational pipelines for underrepresented students, rehabilitation counseling practices, and diversity strategies. Recent work emphasizes assessment methodologies for pipeline program effectiveness. The 2022 article provides evidence-based frameworks for recruiting and retaining disadvantaged students in health professions.
