Anibal Diogenes

Anibal Diogenes, D.D.S./Ph.D., is a clinician scientist and Clinical Professor at the Department of Endodontics, School of Dentistry, UT Health San Antonio. He completed his dental training in Brazil, followed by an M.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology at UT Health San Antonio, specializing in Endodontics. His research focuses on understanding how peripheral nociceptors interact with immune cells, bone metabolism cells, and mesenchymal stem cells during inflammation and repair processes, particularly in dental infections and pain management.
