Ani Henttonen is an Assistant Lecturer (Lecturer) at Sophiahemmet University, Department of Health Promotion Science. She holds an MD and is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience, now transitioning to academia. Her research focuses on nursing education pedagogy, particularly the implementation of independent work as a critical step in nursing education. Her doctoral thesis, expected to be defended in 2023, explores 'Transferable knowledge in the implementation and group supervision of independent work during nursing education.'
