Angèle Christin is an Associate Professor of Communication (and by courtesy, Sociology) at Stanford University, where she holds the Richard E. Guggenhime Faculty Fellowship and Senior HAI Fellowship. Her research investigates the social impact of algorithms and AI through ethnographic studies of journalism, criminal justice, and technology ethics.
