Angus Ramsay is a Senior Research Associate at University College London with over two decades of healthcare research experience since 2001, previously working at the Royal College of Psychiatrists (2006-2008) and King’s College London Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality Research (2008-2012). His work focuses on mixed-method evaluation approaches to understand and improve healthcare system changes across diverse settings.
His research spans health services research, healthcare system improvement, and mixed methods evaluation, with specific expertise in acute stroke services, cancer surgery systems, rare disease care coordination, and the interplay of leadership, power, and politics in major system transformations. As an NIHR Knowledge Mobilisation Research Fellow, he co-designs evidence-based interventions for stroke service reorganization through stakeholder collaboration involving patients, clinicians, and policymakers.
