Angus Forbes is a Professor & Chair of Clinical Diabetes Nursing, specializing in chronic disease management, healthcare delivery improvement, and e-health methods for diabetes care. His research focuses on diabetes care interventions, particularly gestational diabetes, type 1 and type 2 diabetes management, and patient self-care behaviors. He has led 44 research projects, including initiatives like CO-LIPOD and DIME Digital, and has authored over 145 peer-reviewed articles. Forbes holds the prestigious Fellowship of the European Academy of Nursing Science and has contributed to over 70 international peer-review activities. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals targeting health and well-being.
