Angie Taibbi is an Associate Professor of Kinesiology and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology at George Fox University, where she also serves as the clinical education coordinator for the program. Prior to returning to George Fox in 2018, she worked as the director of rehabilitation and lead physical therapist at Infinity Rehab in Newberg (2014-2018) and as an acute care physical therapist at Salem Health (2006-2014).
Her educational background includes:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arizona School of Health Sciences (2006)
- Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance: Athletic Training from George Fox University (2003)
Dr. Taibbi's professional expertise centers on physical therapy and athletic training, with strong emphasis on clinical rehabilitation practices. Her extensive hands-on experience in acute care settings directly informs her approach to clinical education and curriculum development within the Kinesiology program, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in healthcare environments.
As clinical education coordinator, she actively mentors undergraduate pre-physical therapy students through job shadowing programs and serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students across all academic levels. Her mentorship extends to new healthcare professionals, having developed structured training programs for new hires during her tenure at Infinity Rehab.
