Dr. Angelos J. Amditis is a Research Director and Board Member at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He serves as Chairman of ERTICO-ITS Europe and holds leadership roles in multiple international organizations, including ITS Hellas and EuroVR Association. He leads the I-SENSE research group, specializing in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), electromobility, cooperative systems, and VR/AR applications.

Research Interests:

Recent projects emphasize cybersecurity for autonomous systems and edge computing applications in smart cities.
Publications & Projects:
Dr. Amditis has authored/co-authored over 90 journal articles and 220 conference papers. He coordinates major EU-funded initiatives like IN-PREP, SAFERtec, and PLUGGY, advancing CCAM (Connected and Automated Mobility) and C-ITS (Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems) technologies. His work bridges academia and industry, with spin-offs like CIBOS.
