Angelo Martelli

Angelo Martelli is an Assistant Professor in European and International Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) European Institute. He serves as Programme Director for the LSE-Bocconi Double Degree in European and International Public Policy & Politics and holds a Non-resident Fellowship at the Institute for European Policy (Boston University).

Research Interests

His research spans labour economics and European political economy with a primary focus on technology’s impact on European employment structures, labour market institutions, and income inequality. Additional expertise includes structural reforms, the future of work, knowledge economy dynamics, and migration policy. His interdisciplinary approach integrates political economy frameworks with empirical labour market analysis to address evolving challenges in European integration.
