Angelo Borselli is an Adjunct Professor of Business and Corporate Law at Bocconi University, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Corporate Law. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at Bocconi and a Scholar in Residence at the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he taught Insurance and Financial Services Law. His research focuses on comparative corporate governance, insurance law, and financial markets regulation. He has held visiting appointments in the U.S. and China, including a role at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
Dr. Borselli’s academic contributions include award-winning work such as the “Gian Franco Campobasso” Prize for his doctoral dissertation and multiple AIDA Europe Academic Prizes. He is a research fellow at the Insurance Law Center at UConn Law and a board member of the International Association of Insurance Law – Italy. His teaching includes courses on Comparative Business and European Law and Advanced Civil Law – Insurance Law.
His research interests span business law, bankruptcy law, and corporate finance. Notable publications address intragroup financing, corporate governance during emergencies, and the legal implications of InsurTech innovations. He actively engages with international legal frameworks, contributing to both academic discourse and practical regulatory challenges.
