Angelo Auricchio is a renowned cardiologist and academic with prominent roles across institutions. He is Deputy Head of the Cardiology Division and Director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Unit at Fondazione Cardiocentro Ticino, Lugano, Switzerland, and a Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Università della Svizzera italiana. He also holds a part-time professorship in Cardiology at the University of L’Aquila, Italy, and previously served as Director of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at the University Hospital in Magdeburg, Germany.

Research Interests focus on cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac resynchronization therapy, and computational medicine in cardiology. His work spans clinical trials, device monitoring, and improving survival rates for cardiac arrest victims.
