Angelika Winner is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Studies at New York University and an adjunct lecturer at the City University of New York (CUNY). Her research focuses on food justice, public health, and racial equity, particularly examining the foodways of women of color and resistance to racial inequities in urban food environments. Her work is community-based, collaborating with grassroots organizations advocating for food equity and racial justice.

- M.A. in Geography, CUNY Graduate Center (2014)
- Currently completing a Ph.D. dissertation titled 'Black Food Geographies and the Politics of Resistance' at CUNY.
Research emphasizes geospatial analysis of urban health disparities and the intersection of race, food systems, and social justice. She has co-authored a book chapter on spatial analysis of urban health in Geospatial Technology for Human Well-Being and Health.
Angelika has held notable fellowships at CUNY and presented her work at pedagogic and scientific conferences. Her advocacy bridges academia and community action, centering marginalized voices in food justice movements.
