Angelica Ronald is Professor of Psychology and Genetics at University of Surrey, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. She holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Genetics from King's College London and B.A. in Experimental Psychology from University of Oxford.
Her research examines genetic and environmental influences on:
- Early neurodevelopmental trajectories
- Autism spectrum and ADHD phenotypes
- Infant cognitive development
- Psychotic experiences in adolescence
Publications utilize twin studies and genome-wide approaches to investigate developmental pathways. Recent work includes large-scale analyses of infant motor development genetics and longitudinal studies of autistic traits.
She currently supervises doctoral students Aoife Coghlan, Morgan Morgan, and Anja Hollowell. Her lab explores developmental origins of psychiatric conditions using behavioral genetics methods.
