Angela Vergara

Dr. Angela Vergara is a Lecturer and Undergraduate Director of Sociology and Social Sciences at the University of Central Florida's Department of Sociology within the College of Sciences. She specializes in medical sociology, Latin American sociology, qualitative methodologies, and global inequalities. Her research explores topics like health disparities, cultural influences, and community-based responses to trauma.
