Angela Teece is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the University of Leeds, affiliated with the School of Healthcare within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. She qualified as a nurse in 2008 with clinical expertise in spinal injuries and adult critical care. Her research focuses on the psychological impact of critical illness, restraint practices for delirious patients, and care for patients with co-morbid mental health disorders. She completed her PhD in 2022 using creative qualitative methods to explore restraint decision-making in critical care nursing. Angela teaches on pre- and post-registration nursing modules and is involved in initiatives such as patient diaries and post-discharge support groups.
