Angela Schreyer

Prof. Dr. Angela Schreyer is a Professor of Content Management at the Department of Information Science, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. She holds a doctoral degree in Arabic Studies from the University of Leipzig and has extensive training in scientific documentation and computer science. Her academic roles include Deputy Chair of the Audit Committee and participation in the DIN-NID working group on Records Management and the Brandenburgische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Information (BRAGI).

Her research focuses on content management systems (CMS), digital asset management, records management, and document lifecycle processes. She has published extensively on topics like ISO-compliant appraisal frameworks, digital archives, and interdisciplinary applications of photographic archives. Her teaching spans Information Systems, Records Management, and Digital Asset Management across bachelor’s and master’s programs.
