Angela Platt is a Lecturer in Liberal Arts and Course Lead for English Literature at the Institute of Theology and Liberal Arts, St Mary's University (since 2022). Her interdisciplinary research focuses on cultural studies, emotions, religious belief, and gender/family identities, particularly in 18th-19th century contexts. A scholar of religious dissenters, she explores how denominational identity intersects with emotions and familial structures through letters and literature.
