Angela Maria Ramis Murillo

Dr. Angela Maria Ramis Murillo serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy and Specific Didactics at the University of the Balearic Islands' Faculty of Education. With a comprehensive academic background including a Diploma in Social Education, degree in Psychopedagogy, Master's in Socio-Educational Intervention with Minors and Families, and Doctorate in Education, all from UIB, she brings substantial expertise to her academic role.

Her research interests focus on critical child protection issues, particularly residential care systems for minors, foster care arrangements, socio-educational intervention methodologies, and family-based approaches to preventing child abuse. Through her work with the Educational and Social Research and Training Group (GIFES), she contributes to advancing knowledge in these vital areas of educational and social policy.
