Angela Keskinova

Dr. Angela Keskinova is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Family Studies within the Faculty of Philosophy at the University St. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. She holds a doctoral degree in Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences from the same institution, with research focused on disability studies, family dynamics, and mental health. Her professional career includes roles as a special educator, coordinator of disability support programs, and lecturer across multiple institutions including the University of Tetovo and the Institute of Special Education and Rehabilitation.

Her research interests revolve around families of children with disabilities, integral rehabilitation, and mental health challenges facing families. Notable projects include work with the Red Cross on Personal Assistant Programs, USAID initiatives for visually impaired children, and Roma community integration efforts. Keskinova has contributed to over 15 peer-reviewed publications since 2010, addressing topics like learning problems in intellectually disabled children, language abilities in disability contexts, and autism spectrum disorders.

She has served as faculty for courses such as 'Family and Disability' and 'Special Education and Rehabilitation,' demonstrating expertise in both theoretical and applied aspects of her field.
