Dr. Angela C. Marqui is Associate Professor in Business Education and Director of Undergraduate Programmes at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. She is affiliated with the Department of Management and has over two decades of academic and industry experience in operations management and business education.

Her research focuses on operations management, including logistics, supply chain management, and project management, as well as business education and pedagogical innovation with a focus on student employability and curriculum development. She has led major pedagogical redesigns, including the MBA program, and has extensive teaching experience in the UK and Brazil.
Her recent publications reflect a growing interest in artificial intelligence in construction project management and collaborative supply chain models. These works span interdisciplinary areas such as digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation adoption.

Dr. Marqui is actively involved in academic leadership and mentoring. She is currently accepting new PhD students and continues to contribute to both research and teaching excellence. She has held leadership roles such as School Co-lead for Pedagogical Development and MBA Director. Her prior roles include Teaching Fellow in Service Operations at Aston Business School and Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen, where she worked on digital logistics capabilities for SMEs.
