Angela Batson is a Research Fellow at the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC), focusing on road safety, occupational health, and aging drivers. She has collaborated extensively on projects addressing road safety culture in Australian businesses, grey fleet management, and child passenger safety. Key contributions include evaluating the 'Safe Seats, Safe Kids' program and analyzing coroners’ recommendations for heavy vehicle driver safety.
Her research spans barriers to aging driver health, workplace interventions, and gig economy transportation safety. Projects include national road safety partnerships with organizations like Transport Victoria and the Transport Accident Commission. She has served as a Chief Investigator (CI) or Associate Investigator (AI) in multiple funded initiatives since 2022, emphasizing collaborative, applied research.
