Angela Bartram

Angela Bartram is Professor of Contemporary Art and Head of Research for the School of Arts at the University of Derby, where she leads the Digital and Material Artistic Research Centre (DMARC). She is a fine artist and artistic researcher working with objects, sound, video, print, performance event, and published text. Her research concerns thresholds of the human body, gallery or museum, definitions of the human and animal as companion species, and strategies for documenting the ephemeral. She has a PhD in Fine Art from Middlesex University.
