Angela Axelrod

Dr. Angela Axelrod is an Assistant Professor and Program Director at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, affiliated with the Counseling, Rehabilitation & Human Services Department within the College of Arts & Human Sciences. She holds licensure as a Psychologist and DPI-licensed School Psychologist, with over 20 years of experience in schools and private practice since 2002. Her professional focuses include learning disabilities (e.g., Dyslexia) and universal mental health screening initiatives in educational settings.

Education: Ph.D. and Ed.S. in School Psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington, and a B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University. In addition to her academic role, she operates a private practice specializing in assessment of learning disabilities.
