Angel A. Marchev Jr.

Assoc. Prof. Angel A. Marchev Jr. is affiliated with the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. A pioneer in integrating technology into education, he holds a PhD in the implementation of computer simulation and modeling in investment portfolio theory. His teaching spans over 20 years, emphasizing interactive methods and gamification across institutions like UNWE, Sofia University, and BFU.

Education: Graduated in Finance (merit student) from the University for National and World Economy, followed by a Master's in Corporate Finance from Burgas Free University. His academic interests include cybernetics, systems theory, and blockchain technologies. He has over 50 publications and is a certified SME consultant.

Research focuses on adaptive algorithms, forecasting methods, and risk theory. He actively participates in Erasmus Programs and international organizations, including founding the Bulgarian Academic Simulation and Gaming Association (BASAGA). His career bridges academia and innovation, leveraging decades of technical and pedagogical expertise.
