Dr. Andy TC Wong is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Department of Design, Manufacturing & Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde. He holds a BEng in Industrial Engineering, and MPhil/PhD in Operations Research from the University of Hong Kong. As Head of the Engineering Management research group, he focuses on Management Science, Operations Research, and Soft Computing, with over 60 publications in these areas. His research involves computational modelling, optimization techniques, and neural network synchronization. He currently leads £1M+ research projects as PI/Co-I, including dairy farm optimization and intelligent scheduling systems.

Awards include the 2023 Teaching Excellence Award nomination and 2017 Outstanding Reviewer recognition. He serves on editorial boards for Decision Sciences Journal and Informatics, and reviews for top journals like IJPR and IIE Transactions.
