Andy Sanders

Andy Sanders is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science at the University of Gloucestershire. He teaches modules in Biomedical Science and Animal Biology courses, with a focus on biochemistry, molecular genetics, and clinical biochemistry.

His research centers on the molecular mechanisms of cancer development and metastasis, particularly the role of the Epithelial Protein Lost In Neoplasm (EPLIN) as a potential metastasis suppressor. He contributes to therapeutic design and biomarker development through his work.

Professional memberships include the Metastasis Research Society (MRS). Qualifications include a PhD in Cancer Biology and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology from Cardiff University, along with Fellowship of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) status.
