Andy McNeil is the Co-Director of Georgia Tech's Law, Science & Technology Program and a faculty member in the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School of Public Policy. He teaches courses such as PUBP-3610: Pre-Law Seminar and PUBP-4803: Special Topics. His professional background includes legal practice at King & Spalding and Morris, Manning & Martin, focusing on intellectual property and commercial litigation. He co-founded a wholesale apparel company, serving as General Counsel and Vice-President. Currently, he chairs the board of BlazeSports America, a nonprofit supporting children and veterans with physical disabilities. Since 2007, he has coached Georgia Tech’s nationally competitive Mock Trial team.
Education: J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law (2005) and B.S. in Public Policy from Georgia Tech (2001), both with highest honors. Research interests include policy processes, leadership development, pre-law education, and intellectual property law.
Notable roles: Mock Trial program coach, board leadership in nonprofit sectors, and academic program co-direction.
