Andrés Napurí

Andrés Napurí is a Visiting Fellow at Humboldt Universität (Berlin), associated with the CRC1412 Project A09 and the Integrated Graduate School (MGK). His research focuses on the phonological aspects of Boran and Arawakan languages of the Peruvian Amazon, as well as contact phenomena between Spanish and Amazonian languages. He is currently investigating possessive constructions in Canarian and Amazonian Spanish as part of Project A09.

• Master’s and Bachelor’s in Linguistics (Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú)

Previously, he conducted research at the Phonetics Laboratory of the University of Oxford’s Faculty of Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics. His work combines ethnolinguistic, ethnographic, and grammatical studies with Amazonian communities. He can be contacted at andres.napuri@hu-berlin.de.
