معرفی
Andréa Marie Davrinche is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences, affiliated with the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology Research Programme. Her work focuses on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, particularly on forest ecosystem functions, climate change impacts on boreal communities, and trait variation in plant species.
- Projects: Active in two major research initiatives (2022–2027) funded by Jane ja Aatos Erkon säätiö and Finland's Ministry of the Environment.
Research Interests:
- Optimizing tree species spatial arrangement to enhance ecosystem functions.
- Climate warming-induced shifts in species distributions and community homogenization.
- Soil-plant interactions in diverse ecosystems.
- Phenotypic integration and trait variability in tropical/subtropical flora.
Publications: Her 6 peer-reviewed works (2023–2025) span topics like climate-driven moth community dynamics, soil-mediated trait expression, and biodiversity metrics in boreal forests, published in high-impact venues including Nature Communications and PNAS.
Collaborations: Works with multidisciplinary teams across Finland and international institutions, co-authoring studies with experts in ecology, evolutionary biology, and environmental science.
