André Marques

Dr. André Marques is a Group Leader in the Department of Chromosome Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research in Cologne, Germany. His research focuses on chromosome structure and function in plants, with particular emphasis on holocentric organisms that possess unique chromosome organization where centromeric activity is distributed along the entire chromosome length.
