Andrey Pereverzev

Andrey Pereverzev is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Missouri's College of Arts and Science. He holds a Diploma from Kharkiv National University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, with postdoctoral training at Trinity University, University of Houston, and University of Missouri.

His research focuses on theoretical and computational studies of material properties, particularly energy transport in solids, microscopic elasticity theory, and polymorphic phase transitions. The Pereverzev group develops molecular dynamics approaches to investigate thermal conductivity and mechanical behavior in materials like HMX explosives.
