Dr. Andrey Molotnikov is an Associate Professor in Additive Manufacturing at RMIT University's School of Engineering and Director of the RMIT Centre for Additive Manufacturing. He leads a team of 8 academics, postdocs, and 10 PhD students focusing on advanced AM technologies like multi-material systems, high-entropy alloys, and in-process monitoring. His research emphasizes fatigue behavior analysis, microstructural modeling, and quality assurance in AM processes. With over 80 publications (h-index 29) and patents, he actively collaborates on industry-relevant projects through ARC grants.

- Fatigue and mechanical property analysis of AM materials
Supervision & Projects: Supervises 15+ research students focusing on AM applications in aerospace, biomedical, and industrial sectors. Recent projects include titanium high entropy alloys, hierarchical lattice structures, and copper EB-PBF processes.
Labs & Teams: Directs the RMIT Centre for Additive Manufacturing, fostering interdisciplinary research in AM innovation and industrial adoption.
