Andrew Wood

Dr. Andrew Wood is a Reader and IGC Chancellor's Fellow at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer, University of Edinburgh, leading a research group focused on Genome Editing and Targeted Protein Degradation. Dr. Wood’s research is divided into three themes: Degron Tagging, Genome Editing, and Mitotic Chromosome Condensation. His lab develops technologies to manipulate gene and protein function in physiological models of human diseases, focusing on CRISPR and targeted protein degradation.
