Andrew W. Reddie

Prof. Andrew W. Reddie is an Associate Research Professor at the University of California, Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy and Founder of the Berkeley Risk and Security Lab. He collaborates with ICSI Postdoctoral Fellow Krti Tallam.

Research Interests: Andrew’s work focuses on the intersection of technology, politics, and security, examining how technological advancements shape international order. His key areas include nuclear weapons policy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence governance, and innovation. Methodologically, he specializes in experiments and wargaming to analyze complex security challenges.

Affiliations: Andrew holds faculty leadership roles at UC Berkeley’s Center for Security in Politics, the Berkeley APEC Study Center, and the UC-wide Disaster Resilience Network. He is also affiliated with the Institute of International Studies, Nuclear Science and Security Consortium, Institute of East Asian Studies, Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, and the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation.
