Andrew Von Dissen

Andrew 'Andy' Von Dissen is a Lecturer in the Mathematics And Physics Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He holds a BS from the same university (1998). His professional focus centers on mathematics education and curriculum development, with notable contributions to middle school mathematics instruction through initiatives like the Enhancing Teaching of Middle School Mathematics (ETM2) program. He has been recognized for teaching excellence, including nominations for the Stella Gray Teaching Excellence Award in 2007 and 2016. His service includes roles on the Provost's Task Force for Instructional Academic Staff (2013) and university-wide teaching enhancement initiatives.
