Andrew Thompson is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts & Sciences, based in the College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on American politics, political behavior, and experimental methods, with a recent emphasis on the causal role of racial threat in democratic erosion and public perceptions of demographic changes. Prior to joining UPenn, he held an Assistant Professor position at George Washington University.
