Dr. Siu's research focuses on nature-based therapy including horticulture and forest therapy, virtual reality interventions in mental health, and resilience development for people with chronic illness and disabilities. His work explores the therapeutic value of ecotherapy, psychosocial adaptation to chronic conditions, and management strategies for internet/gaming and substance addictions. He develops and evaluates occupation-based interventions that address contemporary mental health challenges through innovative approaches.
