Andrew Single

Andrew Single is a Researcher at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine (IKOM), NTNU, affiliated with Mara Martin-Alonso’s team at CEMIR. His work focuses on understanding mucosal surface diseases, particularly intestinal repair and tumorigenesis using murine models, organoids, and confocal microscopy. He holds a BSc (2013) and PhD (2018) from the University of Otago, New Zealand, followed by postdoctoral research at Lund University (Sweden) on respiratory disease therapies and at NTNU on chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer.
