Professor Andrew Silke holds a Chair in Criminology at Royal Holloway, University of London. His expertise spans terrorism, conflict, and counterterrorism strategies. Silke's research focuses on radicalisation, de-radicalisation, counterterrorism policies, and the intersection of climate change with terrorism. He is the author of influential works like The Routledge Handbook of Terrorism and Counterterrorism (2018) and A Research Agenda for Terrorism Studies (2023). Currently, he is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield University and serves on editorial boards for journals such as Journal of Criminal Psychology and Perspectives on Terrorism.
