Andrew P Roberts

Professor Andrew P Roberts is a prominent academic at the Australian National University (ANU), serving as a Professor in the Research School of Earth Sciences since 2010. He previously held leadership roles, including Dean of the College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (2012–2017) and Director of the Research School of Earth Sciences (2010–2012). His research focuses on paleomagnetism, environmental magnetism, and their applications in understanding climate change, geomagnetic field behavior, and tectonics. Roberts has an extensive international career, with prior appointments at the University of Southampton (1996–2010) and the University of California, Davis (1991–1996).
